Secondly, it is important to use a dry cotton towel to dry your skin. Gently pat on your skin with a dry towel to leave some moisture in it as moisture is very important for your skin. Moisturizer can be used if you have dry skin.
2. Too Much Sunlight
You always need to be extra careful about long sun exposure. Exposing your skin too much of the sun can cause dark spots, skin aging and wrinkles at an early age. Most importantly, it might increase the risk of having skin cancer. Cover your body well and apply high factor sunscreen properly before going out.
3. If You Smoke, Just Quit It
This is a bad news for those who smoke. If you want to keep your skin looking healthy, you must quit this filthy habit. In recent studies, it was found that the contents in tobacco are known to be hazardous for our skin. It causes harmful effects in the blood vessels which lead to a lower blood flow. As blood vessels carry oxygen and nutrients to the skin to help you look healthy, by smoking you’re making it harder to carry oxygen and nutrients to the surface.
4. Avoid Stress
Recent studies have stated that higher stress levels increases the possibility of having unhealthy skin. If you are stressed out, you are going to face skin irritation and acne breakouts. Try not to stress out as much and instead of panicking and worrying tooo much, calm down, and try to find a solution to any of your problems. Try and divert your mind by involving yourself into your favourite activities which will help you chill out a bit.
5. Eat Healthy
Nowadays, people are addicted to junk food forgetting the fact that a healthy diet is an important and necessary factor to having healthy skin and a healthy body. If you want to have youthful glowing healthy skin, you should start maintaining a balanced diet. Eat lots of green vegetables and fruits. This will help you to keep your skin young and fresh.
